Hello, I'm Monica...

I came to inner ecology from a place of despair.

I was overwhelmed and numb in the face of incredible destruction and pain. Deforestation, genocides, mining, endless extinctions...

I left my safe bet corporate job in Australia, and retreated to a trailer nestled in the forests of coastal BC, Canada. I wanted to ride out the apocalypse in the wilderness.

But the wilderness had other plans.

The trees, the rivers, the mountains, they steadied my heart and affirmed my spirit. They reminded me of responsibility, and right relationship. I could no longer pretend that how I showed up didn't matter.

I became a wilderness and nature therapy guide and have lead hundreds in the art of nature connection. Over this time, I have witnessed the profound magic and healing that unfolds when we return our attention to nature.

I started the Academy to bring together a community of women ready to transform themselves and the world by aligning our hearts and minds with the land.
